Let these Republicans know that it is not only the impacts of the madness of the Administration to cut federal grants, USAID, etc., but the Executive Branch has illegally usurped the power of the purse and taken away the primary functions of the Congress, of which they are members and have taken an oath to protect.
Here are the phone numbers to call to our Senators and for our western Montana Congressional District:

World Refugee Day 2023!
Around the globe, World Refugee Day celebrates the strength and resilience of individuals who have to flee their homes and find safety in foreign places. Far from burdening those who welcome them, refugees contribute significantly to their new neighborhoods. Today we’re highlighting three small cities in the U.S. that illustrate how refugees transform and enrich their new hometowns. The newcomers have found a place to realize their hopes, and they, in turn, have given these towns economic and population boosts, as well as the bounty of diversity and fresh perspectives.

Peace Corps Week 2022 Celebration a Success!
Thanks to all who came to the WMRPCV Peace Corps week celebration on Saturday, March 4th. We were 33 folks strong and a few more there in spirit! As always, there was excellent company, great food, and fun music! Some folks brought pictures and artifacts to showcase, which were enjoyed by all. Jim did a short presentation featuring Peace Corps updates and Advocacy information. We reviewed our donation history for the past year and of course reminded everyone to Save the Dates for the annual WMRPCV Goat Chase Retreat. A special thanks to Goodworks Ventures for letting us use their beautiful space for free.  Peace to all!    Mary
